I am a compassionate and client-centered Occupational Therapist specializing in pediatric and client services, with a focus on working with complex cases. I am dedicated to helping individuals overcome physical, cognitive, and emotional barriers, with a particular expertise in addressing sensory needs.
From developmental support for children to rehabilitation and adaptive strategies for adults, I am here to support clients at every stage of life, guiding them toward a more fulfilling and balanced future. I hold a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Dalhousie University, after completing an undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Queen’s University.
My approach is grounded in trauma-informed and neurodivergent-affirming practices, ensuring support that is tailored to individuals of all ages. I am passionate about mental health awareness, advocating for 2SLGBTQIA+ clients, and promoting community accessibility.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my daughter and dog, hiking, and discovering new restaurants within our community.

Alysha Bouchard
(She/Her/Hers)
Alysha is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®) with approximately 10 years of experience in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). She holds a Master’s degree in Professional Education with a specialization in ABA from Western University, a Post-Graduate Advanced Diploma in Behavioural Interventions from Nova Scotia Community College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Saint Mary’s University. Alysha is committed to ongoing professional development and continues to expand her expertise through both her private work and her work with Nova Scotia Health.
Throughout her career, Alysha has supported individuals ranging in age from 3 to over 60 years old. She has extensive experience working with individuals with autism, other developmental disabilities, and dual diagnoses, including co-occurring intellectual disabilities and mental health diagnoses. Her work has focused on reducing complex challenging behaviours and building meaningful life skills.
Alysha is especially passionate about developing strong, collaborative relationships with the individuals and families she supports. She finds great fulfillment in celebrating progress alongside them, whether those achievements are big milestones or small meaningful steps forward.
